And ideally something that isn't going to be resource intensive and cause more problems for the user. Whereas I'm after something I can just leave running for a few weeks in the background. I've looked around the web a bit, but most software appears to be for just running for a short period. When CPU usage is high (or any other kind of resource spike), it would log some info on what processes are chewing the CPU/GPU/disk/whatever, and for how longĪ few weeks later I'd go back in to look for patterns of what might be causing the CPU spikes - and try to correlate with times that the user has noticed the freezes/issues meanwhile the user just carries on using their computer like normal, including being able to reboot it whenever they like

You'd install the program and set it up to monitor CPU spikes, and leave it running/monitoring for a few weeks. Is there some kind of long-term CPU/other resource usage program that does something like this?. I've never been able to replicate the issues at all. This has been going on over a year, and every time I access his computer over teamviewer, everything looks fine. I've got a remote IT client who complains that his Windows 10 laptop is randomly freezing up regularly.
